Reports to: Director of Operations  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor production processes and equipment to ensureoptimalefficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, GMPs, HACCP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards. Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Investigate and resolve production, quality, and safety issuesin a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to support operational objectives. Maintainaccurateproduction records, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor laborutilizationand staffing levels to meet production demands.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Support new product launches, process improvements, and operational projects.

Profile  

  • High School Diploma or GEDrequired;post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, ora relatedfield is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in food, beverage, packaging, bottling, or PET manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality systems.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems.
  • Ability toworkflexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and overtime asrequired.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
