The Opportunity:
The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training and development programs for all facility employees. This role ensures employees are properly trained, qualified, and equipped with the necessary resources across all departments.

What You’ll Do:
- Measure or weigh raw materials for usage following Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR).
- Design and implement a structured, tier-based training program for all position within the facility. This will need to establish a clear progression pathway and skill development benchmarks for employees at every level.
- Ensures compliance with all training requirements, including adherence to cGMP's, FDA regulations, and internal procedures.
- Create, organize, and deliver technical and operational training programs using various methods (on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and simulations).
- Lead and facilitate a "Train-the-Trainer" program to enable department trainers to effectively onboard and develop employees.
- Assess training and development needs through collaboration with department managers and leadership teams.
- Maintain accurate records of training completion, assessments, certifications, and retraining requirements.
- Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance employee performance and development.
- Strengthen workface flexibility through cross-training initiatives to support and sustain targeted facility coverage (e.g., 90% of employees should be cross trained into another department).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training facility matrix to ensure proper coverage and skill alignment.
- Performs other related duties as required.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of two years of training and development experience required.
- Must have prior experience working in manufacturing environment and have held plant level positions, such as line operator, technician, or inspector.Â
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related training software.
- Solid understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including prolonged periods of standing, walking and observing operations.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
