About theĀ VARĀ Public Sector/System Integrator SpecialistĀ ā AMD HPĀ
MarketStarĀ currently has an opportunity available forĀ aĀ PublicĀ Sector/System Integrator Specialist roleĀ supporting our new AMD-HP AllianceĀ team.Ā The AMDĀ HPĀ Public Sector/System Integrator Specialist role willĀ be responsible forĀ strategy, developing relationships, and driving sales within Enterprise and CommercialĀ VARāsĀ in the Public Sector.⯠This role will provide dedicated supportĀ toĀ VAR account managers as they support and drive revenue within the directĀ VAR partner channels.⯠This role will help AMD achieve revenue and market share goals,Ā fosterĀ and grow relationships from account managers to executives, track andĀ assistĀ in closing opportunities with AMDĀ value proposition.āÆĀ

What will you do?āÆĀ
Provide answers to Client device related pre-sales technical questions for VAR(s) account managers and customersāÆĀ
Visits to assignedĀ VARās asĀ designatedĀ by AMD to develop and grow relationships.āÆĀ
Encourage VAR sales reps / account managers to quote Client device products moreĀ frequentlyāÆĀ
Own and manage a pipeline of Client device opportunities within the VAR accounts thatĀ identifiesĀ revenue and strategic markets and/or customersāÆĀ
Follow up on AMD Client device bid opportunities with VARāsāÆĀ
Deliver AMD revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisāÆāÆĀ
Leverage available partner resources to maximize close percentageāÆĀ
Promote the use of VAR partner tools that may include but is not limited to training onsite & virtual, bid desk, trade-in programs, value-addĀ promotionsĀ and other sales incentive programsāÆĀ
Provide regular feedback to as issue(s) arise on the effectiveness of the toolsāÆĀ
Conduct Client device sponsored engagement (if applicable and allowed by all necessary parties), and any other duties as assignedāÆĀ
AcquireĀ and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to recognize areas of strength and opportunities for growth and deliver a trend analysisĀ on a monthly basisāÆĀ

What will you need to succeed?āÆĀ
Solid experience withĀ channel sales experienceāÆĀ is required
College degree in business or a related field preferredāÆĀ
Strong experience conducting group presentations or trainingāÆĀ
Understanding of distribution and VAR channel and the ability to learn quicklyāÆĀ
Time management and organization skillsāÆĀ
Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skillsāÆĀ
Ability to travel up toĀ 25%Ā

Compensation Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00Ā
The salary range for this position is between $85,000.00 and $90,000.00 annually. ThisĀ payĀ structure may also include a variable bonusĀ componentĀ of $10,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the roleās responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
