Do you notice the tiny details that everyone else misses? Does catching mistakes before anyone else even knows they're there sound satisfying? If so, we'd love to meet you.

At EMS Solutions in Ogden Utah, quality isn't just a department-it's part of everything we build. We're looking for a Quality Inspector who takes pride in doing things right the first time and enjoys being the final line of defense before our products reach our customers.

If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, and like solving problems, this could be a great fit.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Thursday 6a - 4:30p - Friday overtime as needed

We offer

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance
  • 401k with a company match
  • 7 paid holidays per year
  • 10 days of PTO per year – begins accruing on the first day of employment

What You'll Do

Every day is a little different, but you'll spend your time:

  • Inspecting incoming materials, circuit boards, and components to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Performing in-process inspections to verify workmanship, component placement, and production quality.
  • Conducting final inspections before products are shipped to customers.
  • Identifying defects and documenting nonconforming materials.
  • Preparing quality documentation, including Certificates of Compliance, ROHS documentation, and inspection records.
  • Taking photographs and maintaining accurate quality records.
  • Working closely with production, supervisors, and leadership to resolve quality concerns.
  • Following ANSI sampling plans, IPC standards, and customer requirements to ensure every product meets expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • The willingness to obtain and maintain an IPC-A-610 certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience (preferred but not required).
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating well with a team.

What It's Like to Work Here

You'll work in a clean manufacturing environment where precision matters. This role requires standing and sitting throughout the day, inspecting small components, maintaining focus on detailed work, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds. Appropriate PPE is provided and required.

Why EMS Solutions?

At EMS Solutions, every employee plays an important role in delivering products our customers can trust. We believe great quality starts with great people, and we value teamwork, continuous improvement, accountability, and doing the right thing.

If you're someone who enjoys detailed work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a team that values quality, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us build products that meet the highest standards-every single time.
