Job Responsibilities

  • Run CMM Machines
  • Final visual inspection of HPG customer products
  • Follow strict inspection protocol in performing inspection
  • Analyze data to ensure conformance of parts to design intent, dimensional requirements, blueprints and other specifications
  • Communicate inspections results to other departments within the company
  • Calibration of measuring equipment
  • Final product packaging
  • Provide training for new employees as required
  • Maintain safe and clean workspace
  • Ensure timely completion of all quality requirements/documents
  • Perform other tasks within the department as required
  • Provide precision dimensional inspections as required, using CMM verifications along with other standard measuring instruments.

Requirements

  • One year of related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to take precise measurements using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • High School Education is preferred. Engineering experience a plus. Must have valid driver’s license
  • Welding or machining knowledge/background is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Computer related skills in PCDMIS and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
  • Thorough understanding of industry quality system requirements.
  • Math skills are sufficient to calculate geometric and trigonometric functions such as circumference, chord lengths, arc lengths, rise and slope of right triangles, true position deviations, etc. Algebraic skills to perform conversions, mechanical strength determinations, etc.
