Job DetailsJob Location: Pueblo Alliance - OHKAY OWINGEH, NM 87566Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Not SpecifiedTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: ConstructionSUMMARY: The Laborer, Grounds Maintenance maintains grounds of industrial, commercial, or public property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses, and athletic fields, and repairs structures and equipment.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned:   Cut grass, using walking-type or riding mowers (less than 2000 lbs.) Trim hedges and edges around walks, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools. Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools. Clean up and removal of debris associated with daily work activities. Sprays lawn, shrub, and trees with fertilizer or insecticide. Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs. Waters lawns and shrubs during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler system. Zero Scape Placement Picks up and burns or carts away leaves, clippings, paper, or other litter. Maintenance of mowers and other equipment. Seasonal Snow Removal shoveling and salting walkways. Weed Mitigation Campus Trash Removal Other duties as assigned. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Must have one-year related experience and be physically able to perform the duties of the job. Must maintain a valid driver’s license. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Clean driving record Must be able to obtain a “Q” Clearance
