In this role you will be on the floor every day driving team performance, enforcing strict hospital sanitation protocols, and ensuring our facility operates at peak cleanliness. You will manage scheduling, hold team members accountable, conduct thorough quality inspections, and step in to cover shifts whenever necessary to keep operations running seamlessly.
Key Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Shift Coverage: Build and manage employee work schedules to maintain full facility coverage. Act as the primary coverage buffer by stepping in to work floor shifts, fill open gaps, or respond after-hours/weekends when unexpected staff shortages occur.
  • Training & Compliance: Ensure all team members complete required digital onboarding modules (Paycor LMS) and adhere continuously to HIPAA, OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogen, and infection control standards.
  • Sanitation & Linen Management: Oversee and participate in specialized hospital-grade disinfection, rapid discharge room turnarounds, and continuous clinical linen supply management.
  • Department Coordination: Function as the primary EVS point of contact for clinical nursing staff, managing ad-hoc requests and prioritizing urgent cleaning tasks.
Position Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred, ideally within healthcare, hospitality, or commercial environmental services.
  • Strong Assertiveness & Communication: Must feel fully confident enforcing policies, holding staff accountable, conducting performance evaluations, and managing corrective actions/write-ups.
  • High Availability & Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including covering open floor shifts, weekends, or responding to after-hours needs on short notice.
  • Physical Demands: Highly active role requiring continuous walking, standing, bending, operating heavy floor equipment (e.g., floor buffers), and lifting up to 40–50 lbs.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Why Join Our Team?
  • Direct Impact: Lead a crucial department that directly protects patient health and safety in our community.
  • Structured Tools: Utilize our SQSS task management platform and Paycor LMS to manage workflows, schedule tasks, and maintain clear expectations across your team.
