Are you a skilled barber with a passion for delivering an exceptional service and experience for our guests? At Douglas J, we're looking for a barber who loves the art of the short haircut, straight razor hot shaves, and beard grooming. You'll be a key part of our team, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience and our barbershop operates smoothly.

What You'll Do:

Provide a thorough consultation to assess your guest’s ideal image
Perform individualized services to achieve the guest’s ideal cut or style
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Shape, trim, and cut guests hair, beard, and/or mustache with the guest’s instructions or using current hairstyles and trends
Stay informed of the latest trends, techniques, and styles for hair care and barbering
Build relationships with guests and make pre-booking recommendations to attain guest retention

Requirements

What You'll Do:

Who You Are:

You have a State of Michigan Barber License
You have a charismatic, approachable personality
You have a personal drive to advance your skills
You have experience working in a professional environment
Have flexible availability to work Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays
