Electrical Test Technician Summary:

Tests all devices manufactured or supplied according to engineering data, bill of materials (BOM’s), electrical drawings, and IEEE/ANSI/NEMA standards, utilizing appropriate test equipment. Maintain test equipment calibrations as required and document all test results at the direction of supervisor.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Drawings and Specification Review: Read and interpret blueprints/ drawings and specifications to ensure that production process align with quality standard.
  • Recommendations for Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and product requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control processes to assist in root cause and trends.


Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably with an ISO Certified company. 
  • Strong background in Microsoft Software, (Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings. 
  • Preference for a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control/ Quality Auditing experience in ISO 9001 certified manufacturing organization.
  • Ability to pass Pre- Employment Drug screen and Physical.
  • Ability to pass nationwide background check.
