This is a Temporary contract position filled by VIA GALT FOUNDATION.   

Salary $17.00 a hour. There are NO STATE BENEFITS for this position.  

GALT may offer some benefits.  

 

Job-related travel is Occasional. - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Requirements at this level consist of 24 months of clerical office experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Answer and manage high volumes of incoming phone calls throughout the workday professionally and courteously. 
  •  Transfer calls to the appropriate personnel or department as needed. 
  •  Provide basic information and answer routine questions from callers. 
  •  Accurately document and enter system notes for each call interaction. 
  •  Submit customer applications for In-Home assistance according to established procedures. 
  •  Conduct occasional outbound calls or follow-up contacts as requested. 
  •  Utilize web-based systems and Microsoft 365 applications daily, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. 
  • Attend required team meetings via Microsoft Teams video chat or in person. 
  •  Maintain attentiveness, professionalism, and compassion while assisting a variety of customers. 
  •  Troubleshoot basic computer connectivity or system access issues when needed. 
  •  Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining productivity in a remote work environment. 
  •  Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and documentation.
