As an Assurance Manager, you’ll do more than oversee audits — you’ll build trusted relationships with clients, guide and mentor your team, and contribute to meaningful work across industries like manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, nonprofits, financial institutions, and more. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality assurance services while fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth in a culture that values unity, service, and continuous learning.
What You’ll Do
- Be a Trusted Advisor & Collaborate with Clients. Gain a deep understanding of client operations, assess internal controls, and deliver value-added solutions that strengthen business processes.
- Manage Engagements. Lead assurance projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
- Review & Analyze. Research and resolve complex financial reporting issues, leveraging technology and professional judgment.
- Coach & Mentor. Supervise, train, and develop seniors and staff, providing feedback and guidance that supports both technical skills and career growth.
- Strengthen Relationships. Build client confidence through clear communication, timely deliverables, and consistent professionalism.
- Contribute to Practice Growth. Support niche development, participate in firm initiatives, and engage in professional, business, and community organizations.
- Drive Firm Success. Manage project budgets and billing processes, support recruiting, and contribute to firm committees and administrative initiatives.
- Stay Current. Maintain and expand your expertise in auditing and accounting standards through firm-sponsored training and self-directed learning.

What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business (accounting degree from an accredited college preferred)
- CPA preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive public accounting experience
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, and industry-specific accounting rules
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex engagements simultaneously
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in paperless auditing applications, plus Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other business tools
- Strong communication skills with a client-service mindset
- A proactive approach, high integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
