Job Description : We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to join our dynamic team. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, providing essential service by handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Your role involves greeting customers, processing purchases, managing cash and credit payments, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience for every customer. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their shopping needs.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register or POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with accountability and precision.
• Provide information and answer queries regarding products, prices, and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of shifts and prepare accurate reports.

Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is an advantage.
• Ability to operate cashier registers and handle various forms of payment.
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
