- Welcoming guests and providing attentive, engaging, and elevated service in a fast-paced bar and lounge environment.
- Accurately taking and processing guest food and beverage orders through the appropriate point-of-sale system.
- Serving cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food with confidence and care.
- Using your knowledge of cocktails, wine, and other beverages to answer guest questions and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Communicating closely with Bartenders, support Curators, and Management to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and guest-ready tables and service areas throughout the shift.
- Bussing and resetting tables and keeping chairs, floors, and surrounding areas clean and polished.
- Completing assigned side work and replenishing service areas as needed.
- Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Handling cash and credit card transactions according to Coury Hospitality cash-handling procedures.
- Reviewing checks carefully, ensuring accuracy, and obtaining the appropriate guest or Host signature when required.
- Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly and professionally to questions or service concerns.
- Maintaining a polished, professional presence while creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.

- You have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of accurate orders, checks, and transactions.
- You are comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and credit transactions.
- You can remain calm, organized, and professional while managing multiple guest needs at once.
- You communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, Bartenders, support Curators, and leadership.
- You take initiative and are willing to complete side work and assist wherever needed.
- You understand the importance of cleanliness, organization, and maintaining a polished guest environment.
- You are flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on business needs.
- You are committed to following all Coury Hospitality service, safety, and cash-handling standards.
Education and Experience
- Previous cocktail serving or bartending experience preferred.
- Previous restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to explain beverage offerings and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to accurately operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
- Ability to follow Coury Hospitality Cash Handling Policy and all applicable service standards.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma State ABLE License.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the bar, lounge, and dining areas for extended periods.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely carry food, beverages, trays, glassware, and service equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction and changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the service area.
- Ability to safely handle glassware, food, beverages, and other service equipment.
- Ability to maintain a polished, professional appearance and adhere to all grooming and uniform standards.
