BASIC FUNCTION

The Digital Marketing & Web Specialist is a hybrid (in responsibilities only) technical and marketing role responsible for the health, performance, and digital infrastructure of WEOKIE’s online presence. This position owns the day-to-day management of WEOKIE’s public-facing website — including coding, content updates, SEO optimization, and accessibility compliance — and serves as the organization’s primary HubSpot platform administrator. The role owns HubSpot configuration, marketing automation, workflow development, and technical platform management, while partnering closely with the Marketing Analyst on campaign analytics and insights. Works collaboratively with the Marketing Analyst, Content Creation Specialist, Graphic Design & Communications Specialist, Director of Marketing, and VP of Marketing to support WEOKIE’s digital marketing strategy and growth objectives.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Website Management & Development

  1. Manage and maintain WEOKIE’s public-facing website, including content updates, structural changes, and feature enhancements. Serve as the internal point of accountability for site health, uptime, and performance.
  2. Write and maintain clean, standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Execute front-end development work including new page builds, template updates, and integration support.
  3. Conduct ongoing SEO audits and on-page optimizations, including meta tags, page structure, image optimization, site speed, schema markup, and crawlability. Monitor keyword performance and organic search trends.
  4. Ensure WCAG/ADA compliance across all web properties. Audit existing and new pages for accessibility issues and implement required remediation.
  5. Review and QA the HTML of all outgoing marketing emails before deployment, ensuring clean rendering across major email clients and devices.
  6. Collaborate with external vendors and freelancers on larger development projects, providing technical direction, scope guidance, and quality review.
  7. Monitor website analytics, performance metrics, and user experience data. Identify issues proactively and recommend improvements.

HubSpot Platform Administration

  1. Serve as WEOKIE’s primary HubSpot administrator and internal platform expert. Own the technical configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the HubSpot environment.
  2. Build, manage, and optimize marketing workflows, automation sequences, and lead nurture campaigns within HubSpot. Ensure workflows are functioning accurately and aligned to campaign goals.
  3. Configure and maintain HubSpot forms, landing pages, CTAs, smart content, and email templates. Support the marketing team in campaign setup and technical execution within the platform.
  4. Maintain HubSpot data integrity, including contact properties, list segmentation, and integrations with third-party platforms. Partner with the Marketing Analyst, who owns HubSpot reporting strategy and performance insights.
  5. Build and maintain HubSpot dashboards to support the marketing team’s visibility into campaign performance. Interpretation of data and strategic reporting recommendations are led by the Marketing Analyst; this role ensures accurate tracking setup and data availability.
  6. Train and support marketing team members on HubSpot tools, platform features, and best practices. Stay current with HubSpot product updates and proactively identify features that could benefit WEOKIE’s marketing operations.

Digital Marketing Support

  1. Partner with the marketing team on campaign execution, including technical setup, UTM tracking, landing page builds, and conversion configuration for digital initiatives.
  2. Support A/B testing setup and execution. Collaborate with the Marketing Analyst on interpreting results and implementing changes.
  3. Assist with digital advertising technical needs, including pixel setup, tag management, and landing page QA in support of paid campaigns managed by vendors.
  4. Ensure proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Report gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated.
