Job DetailsJob Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104Education Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary/yearSUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Director of Ministry Accounting Services manages assigned and/or delegated activities and services related to the Ministry Accounting Services program. This includes collaboration on the development of the Program, ministry accounting policies and procedures, and promotion to WatersEdge clients.   REPORTING The Director of Ministry Accounting Services reports to the Vice President, Ministry Accounting Services.   GOVERNING POLICIES Ministry Accounting Services Policy Personnel Policy Records Management Policy   STATEMENT OF FAITH   WatersEdge declares the Bible as the foundation for its faith and practice, and affirms as its confession of faith, the Baptist Faith and Message, as revised and adopted in 2000 by the Southern Baptist Convention https://bfm.sbc.net/bfm2000/.   BROAD JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage operational functions of Ministry Accounting and Payroll Services; e.g. formulating accounting policy, oversight and processing of client transactions Collaborate on implementation and use of applicable ministry accounting software with WatersEdge clients Contact and schedule meetings to engage WatersEdge clients and prospective clients Supervise and develop Ministry Accounting Services staff and/or interns, as needed Develop technical solutions to increase the efficiency of Ministry Accounting Services Document correspondence and scan mailings in appropriate WatersEdge software Engage the Vice President, Ministry Accounting Services regarding the progress, challenges, and success of the Program QualificationsJOB CLASSIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS As a Christian organization, WatersEdge qualifies for a religious organization exception to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Therefore, this position requires active membership in a Southern Baptist church (which is defined as a church which is cooperating with Oklahoma Baptists) or in a faith-aligned, evangelical church which declares the Bible as the foundation for its faith and practice. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.   WORKING ENVIRONMENT This position generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
