The candidate will develop and nurture current and prospective donors, including individuals, foundations, government agencies, and corporations in an assigned geographic region of the Division. Respond to inquiries and communicate with donors, advisory organization members, Salvation Army employees and leaders. The position has direct oversight for a team of professionals and will be responsible for training, mentoring and accountability of its members.   The role is based in Central Oklahoma and requires regular travel throughout both states, including occasional overnight travel and participation in Territorial and National conferences WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU A Bachelor’s degree (preferred, but not required) from an accredited college or university (preferably in a related field of study) AND five years’ experience performing progressively responsible fundraising work in a charitable organization with demonstrated successful major donor fund raising experience preferred, Experience in leading a team of fund-raising professionals. Proven history of establishing and maintaining strong long-term donor relationships. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Track record of achieving goals. Prior experience with a donor management system. Bona-fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ): This position requires an active Christian faith in harmony with Salvation Army doctrine and practice.
