SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of cabinets and related materials to residential job sites. This role ensures customer satisfaction by handling products with care, verifying order accuracy, and coordinating with warehouse and field teams to support project timelines.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Load, transport, and deliver cabinets, trim, and related materials to job sites and warehouse locations 
  • Inspect deliveries for accuracy and report discrepancies or damages promptly 
  • Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit 
  • Safely unload and place cabinets at job sites as directed 
  • Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery documentation 
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, project managers, and field personnel regarding delivery schedules 
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies 
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns 
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including pulling orders and organizing inventory 

 

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TRAINING):

  • Preferred Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Required Experience: 
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 
    • Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently 
  • Preferred Experience: 
    • Previous delivery or driving experience 
    • Experience in construction, cabinetry, or building materials 

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (typically 50–100 lbs) 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Effective communication and customer service skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
  • Basic knowledge of safety procedures and material handling practices 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying of materials 
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions 
  • Work performed in warehouse settings and active construction job sites 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift, push, and carry materials weighing up to 100 lbs 
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching 
  • Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and equipment 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel required to job sites in Oklahoma, including surrounding states such as Texas and Arkansas 
  • Occasional overnight stays may be required based on project needs
