Job DetailsJob Location: Medical Office Building (MOB) - Oklahoma City, OK 73114Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: Days  DEFINITION: Under the direction of the Outpatient Radiology Supervisor and the Director of Medical Imaging, the Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technician is responsible for performing electrocardiograms when ordered by a physician. The Electrocardiogram Technician must know how to connect electrodes to various parts of a patient's body such as the legs, arms and chest and then obtain an EKG reading by correctly controlling the machine.  Performs all work according to the mission, vision, and values of McBride Orthopedic Hospital. This is a safety sensitive position. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED; Minimum six months training as an EKG Technician or Cardiovascular Technician preferably in a hospital setting or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Paramedic or Medical Assistant Program; BLS certification   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous hospital experience preferred; Associates degree in healthcare related field.
