A Day in the Life:
In the role of Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing reporting and analysis, while proactively identifying new opportunities to increase efficiency and business value. You will provide insight-driven recommendations, help shape future-state processes, and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to turn ideas into results. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of the Transformation Office and serve as a trusted partner in driving operational and analytical improvements.
The starting salary for this role is $65K; commensurate with experience.
What You’ll Do:
•    Create and maintain multiple Access databases and Tableau reporting that will assist the department in streamlining accounting processes.
•    Tackle various issues in the fleet department by offering and implementing actionable solutions including   but not limited to: Tableau, PDF forms, VB.Net applications, Access Databases, SQL databases etc.
•    Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested.
•    Analyze data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed.
•    Investigate and report to the Manager, any inconsistencies or improprieties.
•    Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas.
•    Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
•    Projects as assigned by Management
What We’re Looking For:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or MIS degree.Â
•    1-3 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting or auditing preferred.
•    1-3 years of Tableau experience preferred.
•    Recent graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered.
•    Strong MS Access/SQL and Excel skills
•    Strong knowledge of variance analysis, data analysis, and preparing financial reports.
•    Understanding of AI functionality and practical use in business processes and applications
•    Well-developed analytical and interpretive skills
•    Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
•    Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
•    Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
•    Detail-oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
