  • Delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms with warm, professional, and attentive service.
  • Reviewing orders carefully to ensure accuracy, presentation, special requests, and guest preferences are properly addressed.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and available food and beverage options.
  • Providing thoughtful recommendations for food, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages when appropriate.
  • Properly presenting and delivering meals, beverages, and amenities according to established In-Room Dining standards.
  • Following responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times.
  • Setting up guestroom dining experiences with attention to presentation, cleanliness, and detail.
  • Communicating closely with Kitchen and Bar Curators to ensure orders are accurate, complete, and delivered within expected timing.
  • Anticipating guest needs and providing discreet, personalized service throughout each interaction.
  • Handling guest questions, concerns, special requests, and service recovery opportunities with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.
  • Clearing trays, dishes, glassware, and other dining items from guest rooms and designated areas in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of In-Room Dining equipment, service areas, and storage spaces.
  • Supporting fellow Curators and contributing to a culture of teamwork, excellence, and hospitality.

  • Ability to learn menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and food and beverage offerings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, poised, and professional under pressure.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to follow In-Room Dining policies, service standards, safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.
  • Must obtain and maintain any required state or local alcohol service permits or certifications.
  • Must obtain and maintain any required state or local food service certifications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Must maintain a polished, professional appearance and adhere to all grooming and uniform standards.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, glassware, equipment, and other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to safely maneuver food and beverage trays and service equipment through guest floors, hallways, elevators, and other hotel areas.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers with precision for detailed service techniques.
  • Ability to enter guestroom areas professionally while maintaining guest privacy and discretion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where guest needs, order volume, and service priorities may change quickly.
  • Ability to safely handle food, beverages, glassware, serving equipment, and other materials according to established procedures.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of In-Room Dining service areas and equipment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment based on job responsibilities.
