Job DetailsJob Location: Medical Office Building (MOB) - Oklahoma City, OK 73114Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DaysDEFINITION: Performs various patient care tasks and uses non-professional skills to assist the physician in providing care of the patient in an outpatient setting.  Under the supervision of a licensed nurse and/or the physician, the Medical Assistant performs delegated tasks and procedures of patient care, involving the physical, psychological, social, emotional, safety, and security needs of the patient.  Facilitates the appropriate registration, appropriate documentation for billing/collection purposes and clerical duties that are location specific. This is a safety sensitive position. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have High School diploma or GED.  Medical Assistant certification, and/or equivalent education and experience. Requires excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.  Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of physician office experience with active regional or national certification as a Medical Assistant.
