Job Summary:Ā 

We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and organized full-time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, traveling to patients’ homes and/or medical facilities in the Oklahoma City, OK region, while ensuring the utmost patient care and satisfaction.Ā 

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

Clinical Duties:Ā 

  • Check vital signs.Ā 
  • Review medical history.Ā 
  • Address chief complaints.Ā 
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.Ā 
  • Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests.Ā 

Administrative Duties:Ā 

  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.Ā 
  • Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs).Ā 
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages.Ā 
  • Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation.Ā 

Qualifications:Ā 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.Ā 
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.Ā 
  • Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred.Ā 
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus.Ā 
  • CPR / AED preferred.Ā 
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred.Ā

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ā 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Ā 
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor.Ā 
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.Ā 

Work Environment:Ā 

  • Traveling to patients located in their homes or medical facilities.Ā 
  • May require standing for extended periods and some lifting.Ā 
  • May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other health hazards.Ā 

Pay rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement.Ā
