Overnight Security Guard
Full-Time
Join our team as an overnight Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our property and personnel during overnight hours. We are seeking a vigilant and responsible individual committed to maintaining a secure environment through proactive monitoring and quick response to incidents. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure community while working overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Report suspicious activities or incidents to local law enforcement or emergency services
- Monitor surveillance cameras and inspect property for security breaches
- Oversee crowd control and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises
- Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates after business hours to confirm property is secure
- Investigate reports of suspicious activity and take appropriate action
- Reasonably detain individuals suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives
- Escort discharged staff members as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CLEET I and II License preferred
- Prior security experience preferred
- Ability to operate security equipment, including surveillance systems and detection devices
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents
