Job DetailsJob Location: Pediatric ENT of Oklahoma - Oklahoma City, OK 73114Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DaysDEFINITION: Patient Service Representative is responsible for welcoming patients.  Initiates the registration process for services and updates patient data.  Captures patient signatures on all appropriate forms.  Acts as a liaison for patients to and from the departments and locations.  Assists patients with checking in and out for Physician office visits.  Determines patient financial responsibility, requests, accepts and posts payments for the office visit.  Assists patients with scheduling appointments for follow up visits.  Tracks encounter forms to ensure capture of charges, enters all charges for the visit. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED.  Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and policy/procedure manuals.    Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems.   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two or more years of related medical office experience
