A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MECHANICAL ENGINEER P.E. As a member of the architecture division, you’ll work independently as Project Engineer on industrial, educational, health care and commercial facilities projects. Your main responsibilities on HVAC, fire protection, piping, plumbing and temperature controls projects. You will also participate in planning, cost development scheduling and coordination with utilities, communication systems, structures, machines, equipment and processes.  Your ability to work collaboratively with the project team and meet deadlines makes you a great fit for this position! QualificationsQualifications P.E. certification 5 + years HVAC, Mechanical Piping, and Plumbing Design experience required BS in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering Knowledge of procedures for design and the production of construction documents Knowledge of mechanical planning, layout, drafting, and detailing is preferred A thorough understanding of AutoCAD and REVIT
