SUMMARY

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's social media strategy to increase community awareness, strengthen engagement, support recruitment efforts, promote behavioral health education, and advance the mission of the organization. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), the organization serves diverse populations across Oklahoma with behavioral health, crisis, substance use, and integrated care services.

This position combines creativity, storytelling, digital marketing, and analytics to build meaningful connections with clients, employees, community partners, referral sources, and the public. The Social Media Manager will create engaging content, manage social media platforms, monitor performance metrics, support recruitment campaigns, ensure all communications reflect the organization's values, trauma-informed approach, and commitment to health equity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals and CCBHC requirements.
  • Create, schedule, publish, and monitor content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Build positive online relationships with community stakeholders, referral partners, and advocacy organizations.
  • Promote community events, trainings, and outreach activities.
  • Ensure all content reflects organizational branding standards and messaging.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media platforms.
  • Create promotional materials, newsletters, and digital communications.
  • Track engagement, reach, audience growth, conversions, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Protect confidential information and maintain professional standards in all communications.
  • Remain current on healthcare marketing regulations and best practices.
  • Attend community events, health fairs, and organizational functions to capture content and promote the organization's mission.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive leadership to gather content and communicate organizational initiatives.
  • Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, public relations, or communications.
  • Nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or community health experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools. 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Graphic design and video editing experience.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and related digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Commitment to Red Rock BHS

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 20 pounds
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
  • Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
