Job DetailsJob Location: CORP - Oklahoma City, OK 73134Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: As RequiredJob Shift: AnyThe Staff Attorney is responsible for supporting the company’s legal operations with a primary focus on employment and labor matters, contract review and drafting, and regulatory compliance. This role will work closely with the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel to provide legal guidance across the organization while supporting operational needs of the business. The Staff Attorney will assist with day-to-day legal matters while ensuring appropriate supervisor(s) and senior leadership remain informed of relevant issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION Assist the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel with legal matters as assigned Provide legal support related to employment and labor matters including state and federal employment law compliance Review, draft, and analyze contracts, including vendor agreements, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other commercial agreements Provide interpretation and guidance related to federal regulations and statutes, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), Code of Federal Regulations, and United States Code as applicable Support internal departments with legal research and issue analysis related to company operations Assist with dispute resolution and litigation coordination with outside counsel as needed Assist with compliance matters across a variety of legal and regulatory areas including government contracting compliance Conduct legal research and brief legal issues relevant to business operations Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and assist with evaluating potential operational impact Interface with internal departments and external vendors to support legal and operational needs of the company Assist with identification and communication of potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies Maintain legal documentation and assist with tracking, reporting, and upkeep of legal files and databases Other duties as assigned Qualifications  Must have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school  2-3 years experience with employment and labor law and contract drafting, review, and analysis required Must possess the ability to analyze legal issues and collaborate with General Counsel and senior leadership to develop practical solutions Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Must be proficient in basic computer usage including internet research, Outlook e-mail, and Microsoft Office   Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC (“DRG”) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or veteran status, or any other applicable state or federal protected class.
