POSITION SUMMARY: Â
Provide support to the Campus Store and Gaulke Store staff by working on the floor, cashiering, stocking & restocking items, assisting customers, and selling gate tickets at the Gaulke Center. Provide a memorable experience as a barista while crafting quality beverages for customers. The position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Â Greet customers with a smile as they enter the store.
- Â Help in the campus store by maintaining a presence to answer customer questions and help customers find merchandise. A high attention to customer service details is a necessity.
- Ring up sales using Square processing tools. Accept customer payments via check, cash or card.
- Process online orders and prepare for mailing.
- Assist in receiving and processing inventory
- Observe the cleanliness of the store. Clean store and organize merchandise wherever necessary.
- Help with annual store inventory.
- Help maintain the stock room.
- Fold merchandise and/or hang on hangers for ideal product display.
- Complete opening or closing checklist when on duty during one of those times.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good academic standing
- Readiness to learn
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Retail/food service would be preferred but not required.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Use of Square merchandise software, iPad and Excel
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting, up to 50lbs, sorting folding and tagging merchandise
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily indoors with the possibility of transferring merchandise inside and outside.
