Work days/Shift Hours – if applicable: Monday - Friday / 9:00AM - 6:00PM

Compensation:  Starting pay ranges based on experience.  Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. 

 

General Purpose

Responsible to supervise drivers in getting goods safely, effectively and efficiently from one facility to another within policies and procedures of CCSWB.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure/manage replenishment transportation to the facilities is effective and productive. 
  • Ensure elevated level of Customer Service with focus and response required as a Logistics liaison to all facilities. 
  • Actively participate with Shipping and Receiving management teams within CCSWB to monitor, evaluate and improve logistic metrics. 
  • Train, develop, monitor and evaluate using multiple methods the Private Fleet Transportation Drivers to achieve maximum productivity. 
  • Maintain maximum/optimum equipment utilization. 
  • Ensure proper labor planning and utilization of Transportation Drivers. 
  • Ensure operational compliance with DOT compliance/Law enforcement for Transportation Drivers 
  • Facilitate Safety training for Transportation Drivers.  
  • Ensure completion of required activities from drivers to generate, prepare, review, file and post reports. 
  • Other duties as assigned by Transportation Manager. 

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 

Experience:

  • Transportation and/or Logistics Supervisory experience in direct delivery sales or beverage industry highly preferred. 
  • Good analytical, verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.  
  • 3-4 years in Supply Chain / Logistics environments.  
  • Ability to think strategically with an elevated level of patience in dealing with critical situations.  
  • Previous experience in Replenishment Planning / Distribution is preferred.  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees.  
  • Ability to interact/communicate successfully with personnel at all levels.  
  • Ability to supervise & motivate employees.  
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvement.  
  • Proficient PC skills to include SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
