Job DetailsJob Location: J&R - 70 - OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73128Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayPOSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Associate receives, stores, picks, stages, and moves parts, materials, equipment, and attachments. This position maintains inventory and location accuracy, fulfills internal and customer orders, supports shipping, receiving, and deliveries, and keeps warehouse and yard areas safe and organized. At branches without a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, this position assumes the complete shipping and receiving function described below.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Warehouse Organization & Order Fulfillment Receive stock, verify quantities, and put items into the correct bins; assign and confirm new item locations in the system the same day whenever practicable. Pick, verify, and stage parts for repair orders, will-call, transfers, and customer orders; promptly communicate shortages, damage, or discrepancies. Shipping, Receiving & Delivery Support Load and unload freight; verify inbound material against packing slips and purchase orders; inspect, pack, label, and stage shipments; and complete local deliveries or pickups when authorized. When no Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is assigned, receive freight the same day; prepare bills of lading; book and track freight; maintain proof of delivery; pursue claims; and coordinate vendors, carriers, pickups, and rates within policy. Inventory Counts, Returns & Cores Perform cycle counts, research discrepancies, track branch transfers, and support scheduled physical inventories. Inspect cores before credit is issued, document exceptions, process approved returns, and return eligible items to stock promptly and accurately. Equipment, Yard, Safety & Branch Support Store equipment, attachments, pallets, and crates in assigned areas; assist with loading and verify the correct item and quantity before release. Safely operate authorized forklifts, pallet jacks, man-lifts, and other material-handling equipment; complete pre-use inspections and report damage or unsafe conditions immediately. Keep work areas organized and aisles clear; follow PPE and material-handling procedures; and support Parts, Service, Rental, Sales, technicians, and the parts delivery driver with staging and loading. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required; related warehouse, parts, inventory, shipping and receiving, dealership, equipment, truck, or industrial experience preferred. Working knowledge of shipping and inventory documents, part numbers, locations, transfers, returns, cores, inventory software, scanners, carrier websites, Outlook, and basic Excel. Forklift and man-lift training preferred; company authorization is required before operation. A valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record are required for deliveries. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and detail-oriented. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in warehouse, parts, loading, service, and yard areas with exposure to noise, dust, exhaust, weather, uneven surfaces, and moving equipment. Must stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, push, pull, grasp, and handle materials. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. independently and use assistance for heavier loads; must safely operate or work around forklifts, pallet jacks, man-lifts, vehicles, racks, pallets, docks, and elevated hazards while wearing required PPE. TRAVEL AND SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS Based in Oklahoma City, OK, with limited local travel when assigned. Standard Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime; regular and predictable attendance is required.   Qualifications
