Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: OK Corporate - Oklahoma City, OK 73127Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $22.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Skilled Labor - TradesJOB SUMMARY: Assist in the day-to-day functions of the Weld Department, including but not limited to the welding and prepping of carbon steel valve bodies.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Operation of various equipment using the stick welding processes.  - Read Engineering prints/drawings/documents.  - Work individually and as part of a team.  - Identify and verify parts and materials.  - Verify accuracy of paperwork as required.  - Periodically inspect tools and equipment for accuracy/deficiencies.  - Ensure job orders remain with parts at all times.  - Sandblast and clean various components while standing for long periods of time.  - Observe and follow all Safety practices dictated by the Weld Department Supervisor and company policy.  - Weld carbon steel valve bodies and bonnets.  - Work and assist in other departments as required and perform other duties as assigned.  QualificationsSKILLS REQUIRED: - Ability to operates various equipment using the stick welding processes.  - Ability to read Engineering prints/drawings. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize.  - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  - Excellent organization skills. - Ability to lift 51lbs or more on occasion with a lifting partner. - Must be punctual and reliable.  - Ability to be certified on SMAW101 Weld Test.
