Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 6 months of caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus. This role focuses on light housekeeping, meal preparation, and providing companionship to clients in their residences. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, is dependable, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Key Skills & Responsibilities   Light housekeeping including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, and bathroom cleaning Meal preparation and snack preparation according to client and family instructions Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment Provide companionship through conversation, walks, hobbies, and social activities Assist with errands such as grocery shopping when prearranged Accurate written documentation of services provided during shifts Ability to follow agency policies, procedures, and supervisor instructions Strong communication skills and ability to report concerns to supervisors Qualifications   High school diploma or GED preferred Successful completion of a written competency evaluation Compassionate and patient attitude when working with clients Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle or reliable transportation Work Environment   Work is performed in clients’ homes Travel between client locations may be required Flexible shifts available based on client needs (days, evenings, weekends) Ideal Candidate Traits   Dependable and trustworthy Friendly and supportive personality Strong attention to detail QualificationsEDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIES / AVAILABILITY High school graduate of G.E.D. certificate preferred. Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.     WORKING ENVIRONMENT Primarily works in client’s place of residence; travel may be required.  Shift times and days vary with client needs.
