About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma, starting July 7, 2025. This full-time position offers flexible assignment lengths of 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, including management of hypertension, diabetes, and chronic care conditions. The facility offers on-site lab, X-ray, imaging, and pharmacy services. Proficiency with RPMS EMR is required. This opportunity is open to physicians with any state license and offers potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.


Job Details: 

Location: Oklahoma 

Start Date: July 7, 2025 

LOA: 120 days (with options for 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year) 

Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm


Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages 

• Manage chronic conditions, including hypertension and diabetes 

• Conduct physical examinations and preventive care screenings 

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries 

• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans 

• Utilize on-site lab, X-ray, imaging, and pharmacy services as needed 

• Accurately document patient encounters using RPMS EMR 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes 

• Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance 

• Stay current with best practices in family medicine and primary care


Additional Information: 

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required 

• Experience in managing a diverse patient population preferred 

• Proficiency with RPMS EMR system required 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Flexibility to commit to various assignment lengths (3 months, 6 months, or 1 year) 

• Any state medical license accepted
