The Division Orders Professional, working under direct supervision, supports the division orders department by completing routine tasks and developing foundational business knowledge. This role processes incoming division orders, updates owner records, manages pay code changes, and assists analysts with research and correspondence. The position is responsible for digitally filing division orders and associated documents, maintaining accurate and organized records, and responding to general inquiries. By identifying opportunities for process improvement and ensuring effective business controls, the Division Orders Professional contributes to the efficiency and success of the division orders department.

  • Develops basic business knowledge, accesses relevant data services, and gains awareness of industry practices, fostering effective working relationships and learning from subject matter experts within the division orders department.

  • Completes routine division order tasks and develops skills under direct supervision, supporting change efforts and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Processes incoming division orders, requests address updates, sets up records for new owners, and processes pay code changes to pay or suspend owners.

  • Assists division order analysts with research of lost owners or title requirements, generates ā€œlocateā€ letters as instructed, and prepares division order mail outs.

  • Responsible for digitally filing division orders and associated documents, ensuring accurate and organized file support for analysts, and maintaining up-to-date records of all relevant correspondence and documentation.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements within the division orders department, recommends enhancements, and assures effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification.

  • Responds to general division order related inquiries, including research and reply to hotline tickets, redirecting inquiries, or providing routine information requiring a general knowledge of department/section functions.



Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.


Experience:
• 0-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Land and Lease Management, Contract Management, Title and Ownership Verification, Royalty Calculations, Division Order Processing or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
