We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team! This is a full-time position at our fleet facility located in New Century, KS. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires great attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication, carpentry, construction, electrical, painting, mechanical, and finish work. 
  • Build testing units from top to bottom utilizing the skills listed above.
  • Modify, renovate, and maintain current testing units.
  • Assist staff in diagnosing equipment/ vehicle malfunctions and direct the appropriate follow-up actions. 

  

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED, and/or Certification.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screen.
  • Post Offer Employment Test (POET) required before first day of work.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in any of the following skills preferred: 
    • 120 volt AC electrical,  mechanical maintenance, automotive maintenance and repair, commercial construction, automotive body work and painting, carpentry, 12 volt DC electrical, trailer or box fabrication, remodeling, or electronic repair.
