LifeMission Kids Olathe Elementary Coordinator-Full-Time
Under the direction of the LMK Pastor, The LMK Olathe Elementary Coordinator provides leadership and direction for students in 1st through 5th grade by creating an engaging, Christ-centered environment where children can thrive. This role is responsible for leading, developing, and equipping volunteer teams while ensuring weekly services, events, and ministry experiences are executed with excellence. The LMK Elementary Coordinator builds strong relationships, communicates the vision of LMK, and empowers others to take ownership and grow as leaders. Through strong relational, organizational, and spiritual leadership, this position helps create a ministry culture where children are known, loved, and challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus.Â
Principal Job Responsibilities:Â
- Lead and develop the Elementary Ministry Team, creating a culture of excellence, teamwork, ownership, and spiritual growth.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to EA, Squad 45, and Worship Team leaders and volunteers, ensuring each team is equipped and aligned with the vision of LifeMission Kids.
- Recruit, train, coach, encourage, and develop volunteers, helping team members identify and grow in their gifts and leadership potential.
- Coordinate and oversee weekly Elementary services and ministry activities, ensuring teams are prepared, supported, and positioned to create engaging and life-giving experiences for children and families.
- Lead and manage ministry schedules, including the EA Team and LMK Worship Team, ensuring appropriate staffing, communication, and coverage.
- Oversee weekly LMK Worship Team practices, providing leadership and coordination to ensure the team is prepared for weekend services. (Musical ability is not required.)
- Provide leadership and oversight for the elementary environments at the Olathe Campus, ensuring spaces are prepared, organized, welcoming, and aligned with the vision of LMK.
- Participate in EA services and ministry experiences, including serving in various on-stage capacities such as MC or teaching as needed.
- Lead and coordinate Squad 45 events, ensuring volunteers, environments, communication, and logistics are effectively organized and executed.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and volunteers, serving as a visible and engaged leader within LMK.
- Partner with LMK leadership to evaluate ministry effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies that strengthen the overall ministry experience.
- Manage LMK activity and information within eSpace, providing oversight to ensure ministry teams are utilizing systems effectively and consistently.
- Assist with the development and management of the LMK budget, taking ownership of responsible stewardship and financial processes.
- Code and upload receipts and requisitions weekly, maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
- Model the values, culture, and spiritual leadership of LifeMission Church, consistently demonstrating integrity, humility, initiative, and a servant-leader mindset.
- Other duties as assigned.

General Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand for long periods of time
- Moving / pulling cart with materials across the parking lot
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
