Schedule and Flexibility

This position covers maintenance Monday through Friday for afternoons and evenings. Exact hours are flexible to accommodate the right candidate while meeting the needs of our facility.

What You'll Do

  • Perform maintenance and repairs throughout hospital facilities, including patient areas, offices, common spaces, and exterior grounds. 
  • Repair and replace plumbing components, including pipes and fixtures. 
  • Complete minor electrical repairs. 
  • Paint and repair walls and ceilings. 
  • Assemble furniture, shelving, and equipment. 
  • Install artwork, shelving, whiteboards, and other fixtures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and safety testing on equipment and vehicles. 
  • Assist with emergency preparedness drills. 
  • Maintain documentation required by OSHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), the Fire Marshal, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Complete basic groundskeeping duties, including snow and ice removal and minor pothole repairs. 
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs. 
  • Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and teamwork while supporting children, families, coworkers, and community partners.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance. 
  • One to three years of maintenance or related experience. 
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. 
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans and equipment manuals. 
  • Basic math skills. 
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
