Role Overview and Responsibilities

This position may require access to information, technology, or materials subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Any offer of employment will be contingent upon TT Electronics' review of the candidate's eligibility to access export-controlled information in accordance with applicable law.

 

Introduction

The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for independently developing and refining manufacturing processes, supporting production issues, improving efficiency, and implementing new programs. Serves as the primary owner for assigned value streams or product groups.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of new products and processes into production.
  • Resolve complex technical issues impacting quality, throughput, or cost.
  • Design tooling/fixtures and define manufacturing requirements for programs.
  • Conduct PFMEA/DFMEA for robust process development.
  • Lead CI projects using Lean/Six Sigma methods.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, routings, and SOPs.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive manufacturability improvements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Strong CAD and design-for-manufacturing skills.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing flow, lean tools, and RCCA.
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend technical solutions.
  • Effective communicator across functions.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation (ADA).

Desireable Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, plus 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Aerospace/defense experience preferred; GD&T proficiency expected.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
