The PFEP (Plan for Every Part) Coordinator develops and maintains the PFEP database for all parts, make parts, and purchased raw material. Works closely with the planners, buyers, suppliers, BUSCL (Business Unit Supply Chain Lead), Manufacturing Engineering, warehouse and production teams to optimize the material flow from the supplier to the production line. Ensures PFEP supports the set up and maintenance of internal consumption based on replenishment systems. Works with the launch and engineering teams (New Product Development) to introduce new materials efficiently by utilizing stabled PFEP and replenishment rules.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 2+ years of experience in related field.

Travel: Up to 25% based on company need

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The PFEP (Plan for Every Part) Coordinator develops and maintains the PFEP database for all purchased parts, manufactured parts, and purchased raw material.
  • Works closely with the planners, buyers, suppliers, BUSCL (Business Unit Supply Chain Lead), Manufacturing Engineering, warehouse and production teams to optimize the material flow from the supplier to the production line.
  • Ensures PFEP supports the set up and maintenance of internal consumption based on replenishment systems.
  • Oversees Plan for Every Part (PFEP data) and replenishment systems: Identify and improve information flow through manufacturing, materials, engineering, and distribution via processes and support programs.
  • Set up and maintain system to determine future part demand, Min/Max replenishment, and plan for every part (PFEP).
  • Provide technical training (including PFEP, Min/Max collection and data entry) to materials team members and create training documents for future use.
  • Apply detailed knowledge of the MS Office product suite and various statistical and data-mining software to analyze and report on a variety of inventory related matters including: PFEP and obsolescence; ECN incorporation; product ordering patterns; inventory record accuracy assessments; receiving accuracy; variety of inventory control; supply chain; logistics assessments and metrics; root cause investigations.
  • Create and maintain metrics that assess material shortages and root cause (BOM, PFEP).
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to identify significant discrepancies between planned (PFEP) material use, actual and projected to minimize inventory while reducing shortages.
  • Work with BUSCLs and manufacturing engineers on container management for improved line-side presentation and material flow/replenishment signaling.
  • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
