POSITION DETAILS

  • Salary:Ā $65,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)

  • Location: Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

Create, deploy, and support quality applications used to enhance the work and mission of KVC. Work as a team with developers, Information Solutions team, and business leaders to add value through technology, continued learning, agility, and curiosity.

Additionally, staff members are expected to be a role model for children and families, be solutions focused and build upon their strengths. KVC policies employees are also expected to maintain knowledge of, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Ā 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned according to qualification of staff and development of programs.

  • Create and support mission critical applications to track and report information to better serve children and families

  • Evaluate and modify applications including encoding, testing, debugging and documentation

  • Resolve problems associated with these applications

  • Detect, diagnose, and report related problems

  • Continuous learning

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

Experience:

  • 0 – 4 years of related experience.

  • Experience with web-based development including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience with Web Services and APIs.

  • Relational database experience such as SQL Server or MySQL.

  • NoSQL or Unstructured Database experience a plus, such as MongoDb.

  • Some experience with framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
