Provide Nourishment and Support as a Food Service Worker

In this role, you will prepare nutritious meals for children and adolescents in a setting similar to a small school lunchroom, specifically tailored for those receiving behavioral health care.

Flexible Weekend Schedule
This position offers flexible hours on Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts running from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. This schedule is ideal for individuals seeking a consistent weekend routine while maintaining flexibility during the work week.
Primary Responsibilities
Working in conjunction with a Dietician and under the supervision of the Operations Department, you will prepare recommended meals and arrange food and beverages on steam tables, coolers, or mobile carts. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, including proper handling, preparation, and storage, while monitoring refrigeration temperatures. Daily duties also include cleaning and sanitizing utensils, cooking equipment, and serving areas, as well as setting up or breaking down tables for special events or fluctuating patient needs.
Qualifications
Candidates must have completed at least the 10th grade, while a high school diploma or GED is preferred. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required for this position. We require one to three months of experience or training in the food service industry, specifically in food preparation and storage.
Preferred Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will have experience providing daily food service to children within a residential treatment facility or school setting. We value individuals who are comfortable using Windows-based software and email to stay connected with the team.
