- Gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to a supervisor (management) position.
- Learn line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of the business.
- Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
- Demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise with managerial responsibilities.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university, obtained within the past 12 months.
- Preferred degree in Agricultural, Environmental or Safety Sciences with an interest in Poultry.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technology, computer, analytical, and data collection skills.
- Motivated self-starter with desire to learn, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
