As we rapidly scale, we are seeking Contract Recruiter to be part of the Human Resources Team with responsibility for hiring team members and associates to grow MedZed’s operations.


Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Contract Recruiter responsibilities include ensuring MedZed attracts, hires, and retains top talent while building a strong talent pipeline. A persuasive communicator, capable of managing competing, time-sensitive priorities without compromising the integrity of the process. And able to clearly articulate-MedZed’s culture and vision. You will be actively recruiting for 20+ roles a month to support a critical new initiative within MedZed’s operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates using the ADP Workforce Applicant Tracking System and other job board/sources to hit target goal of 10 hires a month.
  • Open and close requisitions, generate correspondence, prepare offer letters, record candidate interviews/screenings/notes, and ensure proper disposition of all applicants.
  • Proactively source candidates from multiple channels.
  • Execute employment offer process, including establishing salary ranges, incentives, start dates etc. in collaboration with HR partners and hiring managers. 
  • Monitor and execute Recruiting Standard Operating Practices.
  • Comply with all company policies, as well as applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring criteria consistent with job descriptions.
  • Maintain appropriate records and statistics; prepare reports as needed.
  • Assist with reporting requirements, as necessary.
  • Generate and submit weekly updates and reports related to talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with the HR department to align on MedZed’s hiring needs and organizational goals.
  • Promote MedZed’s reputation as a “best place to work.”
  • Advise candidates on MedZed’s benefits, salary, and company culture.
  • Manage candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition/Human Resource
  • High school diploma required, Associate or bachelors preferred.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, candidate sourcing and HRIS systems preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft; Word, Excel Teams
  • Comfortable traveling to community networking/recruiting events
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment

Work and the Team

This role works closely with Human Resources to ensure hiring is consistent, practical, and aligned with MedZed workflows and standards. The Recruiter Specialist plays a key role in supporting the hiring initiatives but partnering with hiring managers and the HR teams to effectively scale the growth of MedZed. 

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the employee to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods while performing desk-based computer tasks.
  • The employee must be able to constantly operate a computer, keyboard, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office/remote workspace to access file cabinets, office machinery, or other resources.
  • The employee may occasionally be required to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds (e.g., a laptop, files, or small office equipment).
  • Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less is required for working with computers and reading small print.
