The Position:
The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, performs administrative duties in the Shipping/Receiving Department(s).

This position works Monday through Friday, from 7am-3:45pm. 

The compensation for this position is $20/hour.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Serve as primary point of contact for carriers and internal teams on deliveries/pick-ups, checking drivers in/out, assigning doors, and reviewing dock safety procedures
• Monitor and coordinate all inbound/outbound shipments to ensure timely receiving and loading
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records, including BOLs and order completion via WMS, and ensure all documentation/system transactions are completed correctly and on time
• Deliver end-of-day wrap-up communication to Operations leadership on open order issues, escalating operational concerns to facility management as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred. 
• Minimum of one (1) year of practical work in a warehouse, receiving, or dispatch environment.
• HazMat receiving and shipping experience preferred.
• Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Working knowledge of WMS system preferred
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred).
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
• Experience must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
• Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
