The equipment operator is responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse. Duties include driving reach truck to assigned location to pull product, delivering product to designated area in overstock, to be replenished or shipped, recording the movement of product location, stacking and moving empty pallets and wire baskets to correct destination, locating all received product to a forward picking bin or designated overstock location, ensuring all carries receive the correct paperwork, operating wrap machine to secure pallets prior to shipment, and being responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area. Requires education equivalent to four years of high school and experience operating a Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit Down Forklift, and an Electric Pallet Jack. Physical demands include driving reach truck for long periods, frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes, and ability to work in various temperature conditions. The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, lifting, carrying, grasping, repetitive motions, and requires close vision, depth perception, far vision, hearing, talking, touch, and temperature tolerance.
