Position Summary: As a Parcel Loader, you will be responsible for hand-loading parcel boxes, weighing up to 50 lbs., onto FedEx and UPS trailers. You will also cross-train in other warehouse functions, as Ubique Group encourages employees to “move to the work,” allowing you to grow your knowledge and expand your skill set.
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Additional overtime, early arrivals, or extended hours may be required based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Load parcel boxes onto trucks and trailers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed
- Keep the warehouse organized and orderly at all times
- Wear and maintain required safety equipment
Qualifications:
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to read and follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete floors
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching, and overhead lifting
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small items
