Job Overview

The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on aluminum and copper components and assemblies according to engineering specifications.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:

  • Performing TIG welding on aluminum and copper components per engineering drawings
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
  • Setting up and welding components to create complex assemblies
  • Maintaining welding equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and safe condition
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals
  • Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Welding certification from a recognized program or 1-3 years of welding experience
  • Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • OSHA 10-hour safety course is a plus
