The successful candidate will be a safety-focused individual who is well-rounded in industrial electrical skills, repair experience, and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks as well as lead and train team members. Shift Details: Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CT. Key Responsibilities: General Building and Office Maintenance; Maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of various challenging electronic and electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment; Provide support for all facility systems, departments, and equipment, including but not limited to Conveyors, Refrigeration, Ultra-Low Freezers, Printers, dock levelers, Compressors, and other automated technologies; Capacity to learn all phases of facility maintenance, including electrical troubleshooting. Minimum Requirements: 1+ years of related experience. Critical Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance, specifically with HVAC and boiler systems; A self-starter with the ability to learn about new equipment, undergo training, and lead preventative maintenance efforts; At least 1 year of experience with conveyors, refrigeration systems, ultra-low freezers, printers, dock levelers, compressors, and other automated technologies; A minimum of 1 year of experience in troubleshooting and repairing various challenging electronic and electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment; Demonstrated skills in all phases of facility maintenance, along with the ability to collaborate as part of a multi-functional team. Computer Skills: MS Office Suite. Preferred Skills: Windows XP/Windows 7 and work order experience is preferred; Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations. Education: Associate degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field preferred.
