We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized Foster Care Case Aide to join our Child Welfare team. In this role, you will provide essential support services to children and families involved in the foster care system.Â
Your Role:
- Provide child welfare services and conduct client visits with individuals, families, and groups, including birth, foster, and adoptive families, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Monitor and supervise family visitation in home, office, and community-based settings to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Document observations and maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of all visits and services provided. Communicate and report client interactions and progress to the assigned supervisor.
- Transport youth to and from family visits, appointments, and other agency-related activities.
- Assist Case Managers and Supervisors with case-related tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured automobile that meets state and agency requirements.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to supporting children and families.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in human services or a related field.
- At least one year of experience working with children and/or families.
