Annual Salary: $85,000+ (DOE)

Plant/Work Location: 9333 Dielman Industrial Drive, St. Louis, MO 63132 

(or located within a reasonable distance from one of our North American facilities).

We are currently seeking a Product Applications Engineer to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters located in St. Louis, MO.

Job Summary

The  Product Applications Engineer is responsible for developing the technical expertise within the Electrical Motor Market and obtains an understanding of customer applications to assist customers with engineered solutions and to support the development of new products for the market.

Job Duties - Product Applications Engineer 

• Serve as the subject matter expert for customer applications with an ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders in how our products and services can satisfy customer requirements.   
• Collaborate directly with customers on new opportunities and support the sales teams’ efforts to grow the overall business.
• Support new product development projects from research, through planning and implementation.
• Develop marketing content (data sheets, white papers, technical bulletins, advertising materials, technical video, webinar, application engineering profile, etc.) to promote our technical expertise.
   

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, required.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role (Product Application Support or Design roles will be considered).  
• Ability to understand customer’s application requirements and translate that into understanding internal capability development.
• Position is subject to meeting ITAR requirements.

Preferred: 

• Knowledge of electrical motors and their construction is desired, but not mandatory.
